Keeping Children in Families

The best place for a child is a caring and loving family. However, when a family finds itself in difficult life circumstances, there is a risk of termination of parental rights, and for children, the risk of removal from the family to institutional care or alternative forms of upbringing.

Children become hostages to adult problems that they cannot influence. They are left without the basics: hot food, seasonal clothing, shoes, or medicine when sick. To support a family in crisis and give them a chance to change their circumstances, we ensure that children’s basic needs are met.

  Our team regularly visits these families and provides:
Quality food packages and hygiene products;
→ Children’s and seasonal clothing and footwear;
→ Medicines for children’s treatment.

When it comes to critical conditions for a child’s health or education, we help arrange their living and personal space: we look for a bed, a study desk, or essential household appliances.

Equally important are the moral and psychological support we offer access to, as well as the acceptance, care, kindness, and simple hugs from our team during visits. After all, children are our shared future. We do not stand aside. We are right there with them, striving to change what is within our power together.
